We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer - WinCE who will contribute software functionality as a member of our San Diego, California engineering team. This position is primarily responsible for but is not limited to the following duties:

• Develops software components, device drivers using Windows CE platform.

• Utilizes configuration management systems and works closely with the team.

• Develops test cases.

• Performs unit tests and system level tests.

• Investigates and resolve software defects to meet highest quality standards.

• 2+ years related work experience.

• Experience with an embedded OS (Windows CE).

• Understanding of OS internals.

• Experience with device drivers, BSP, networking stacks.

• Excellent skills with C / C++ / C# coding, and OO design concepts.

• Experience with interrupts or DMA.

• Solid software design and debugging skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, and a background in embedded systems is preferred.

• Experience with JTAG.

• Ability to work from circuit schematics and operate logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.

• Understanding of 32 bits Microprocessor (ARM9) and embedded system design.

• RS-232C, USB and other communication knowledge.

• Creative thinking skills & Ability to multi-task.
